Patrícia Rezg

​​Patrícia Rezg is a Senior Associate at BDO Legal with more than ten years of experience advising on energy regulation and technically complex development projects. She focuses on the production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and heat, and regularly advises energy producers, suppliers, grid operators and energy service providers. 

​Patrícia has taken a leading role in numerous renewable energy and energy-transition projects. Her experience includes solar energy, biogas and biomass projects, decentralised heating systems, electricity storage, demand-side flexibility and energy aggregation. She advises on the legal and regulatory aspects of both the development and operation of these projects, including matters where energy regulation intersects with construction, industrial development, technology and real estate. 

​A significant part of Patrícia’s practice involves representing clients before regulatory and public authorities. She also supports energy-sector clients in legislative matters, including participation in inter-ministerial consultation procedures, the preparation of technical comments and the drafting of proposed amendments to legislation under preparation. 

​Within BDO Legal’s Energy and Infrastructure practice, Patrícia assumes substantial responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of energy mandates and contributes to the coordination of legal issues involving regulatory, commercial, administrative and technical considerations. Her detailed knowledge of the Slovak energy framework allows her to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical advice for clients developing and operating energy assets. 

​In addition to her core energy practice, Patrícia advises on industrial and technology projects with a significant technical component, as well as related corporate and real estate matters. She also handles matters concerning the Register of Public Sector Partners for the firm’s clients.​
