Andrea Kováčiková

Andrea is a Director at BDO Legal, specialising in M&A transactions and complex transaction advisory. With 25 years of experience in corporate, commercial and civil law, she has advised on numerous significant transactions across Slovakia and the Central and Eastern European region.

Her expertise includes acquisitions and disposals of companies, mergers, joint ventures, transaction structuring, corporate reorganisations, project financing and cross-border transactions. She has extensive experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with law firms across multiple jurisdictions to deliver seamless cross-border solutions. Throughout her career, she has supported clients through all stages of the transaction lifecycle, combining legal expertise with a practical understanding of business objectives.

Andrea has been repeatedly recognised as a Leading Associate in Commercial, Corporate and M&A Law (Slovakia) by The Legal 500 EMEA, one of the most respected international legal directories.

Before joining BDO Legal, Andrea held senior legal positions within the J&T Group, worked at a law firm established from J&T’s legal department, and subsequently gained experience at a leading international law firm.
