Turning ambition into measurable progress
BDO’s second global Sustainability Survey provides fresh insights into sustainability maturity, priorities and implementation challenges across 251 organisations in 41 countries. The findings show that while organisations recognise the importance of sustainability, they continue to need professional support to translate ambition into measurable results.
As many as 96% of respondents identified governance and ethical business practices as their top priority, more than 75% of organisations require support in almost every area surveyed, and 43% of respondents struggle to measure and track impact.
The survey highlights a particular need for stronger leadership, clearer ownership of sustainability programmes and better data to support effective decision-making.
