For the fourth year running, BDO has been announced as the No.1 Financial Advisor Globally (by number of deals) in the 2025 Factset league tables (1). We have been placed second in the MergerMarket Global Financial Due Diligence provider rankings (2) and are recognised by Pitchbook (3) as the Most active Advisor & Accountant (4) globally in 2024.
Despite the market uncertainty which has led to a challenging year in merger and acquisitions, BDO’s Deal Advisory teams across the organisation’s global footprint successfully completed 1,835 deals during 2025, a 5% increase in number of transactions year-on-year.
BDO works closely with private equity and across borders. During 2025, 40% of our transactions involved private equity and 25% of our transactions were cross border.
