COVID-19: BDO related measures
Note: The health and safety of our people, clients and community is our top priority. In response to the COVID-19 BDO partners and employees work mainly from home. Our BDO teams operate effectively from any location, and will continue to deliver the highest level of service by leveraging technology.
allow me to personally inform you about the measures that we had to implement as a result of the current global corona virus pandemic outbreak and at the same time reassure you that as of today the provision of all our services remain entirely intact. With respect to the current situation and in order to safeguard the health of our employees, families, partners, clients as well as communities we live in, with immediate effect we were forced to implement the following restrictions:
- We temporarily terminate any fieldwork at clients’ premises and business trips to all our employees. However, all our people remain fully operational and will continue working mostly from home using our secure virtual private network. Due to this reason we kindly ask you to send us papers electronically and minimize physical delivery of any documents.
- We restrict any personal meetings and contacts to bare minimum. Instead we substitute these for conference calls or video calls using Skype for business or MS Teams applications. Any meetings that would need to take place anyway would need to be organized outside BDO offices.
- We restrict the operation of our reception to bare minimum. This also applies to telephone contact to our reception. We kindly ask you to contact us using the following email address [email protected] or directly by telephone / email through your dedicated key contact stated in our engagement letter. Let me reassure you that all your requests and messages will be promptly taken care of and redirected to the appropriate member of our team who will get back to you asap.
As I’ve already pointed out above, despite of all these restrictions, provision of all our services remain intact. I would like to reassure you that even in this difficult situation our entire team is currently doing all we possibly can to continue with the provision of our services in top quality, highest professionalism and in contractually agreed time.
